Dude. Stop acting like you are 12 when people don't think the way you do. Consider this a valuable life lesson.

I gave the offense props for running the ball and scoring 34 points. Just don't tell me it was because of a bullshit rah-rah speech. What the opposing defense does SHOULD dictate what this offense does. We are not good enough to play any other way, plain and simple.

Irony.

La Tech has given up over 600 yards rushing the last two games. Sure, one of those teams was Army, but that is a lot of yards (over 400 for army).

Point is, we should be able to run the ball against them, even against 8 in the box. If DT is making plays we should put up more than 21 points, which is our season high for points scored on the road this year.

Irony:

: the use of words that mean the opposite of what you really think especially in order to be funny

: a situation that is strange or funny because things happen in a way that seems to be the opposite of what you expected

I'm not the one that gets personal the second someone disagrees with the way I think.

It will do you well in life if you drop this approach.

And learn the definition of Irony...

ok, I couldn't help myself on the last line.

The last definition fits perfectly.

UNT90 acts like a 12 year old so it's ironic that he called me a 12 year old.

Also, what's more ironic is that the life lesson I get from 90 certainly isn't the one he intends, more of "When I'm the age of my parents, don't be a misanthrope."

I know you are, but what am I?

No. that way of thinking has already resulted into losses. Maybe at the end of games, once we have worn the defense down or in short yardage situations. If theres 8 in the box and we are running, we better be going double TE or something similar.

I'm not saying run it 50 times into an 8-man front. If they're putting 8 in the box we should be throwing, but we should also rush for more than 20 yards or whatever it was against Tulane.

Yep. That's pathetic. It means you're getting your ass kicked, and you're sitting there and taking it.

Junior defensive end Quenton Brown participated in drills in the days leading up to UNTs win over MTSU last week and is getting closer to making his season debut

Good news!!

This is his last chance this week to play.... and get injured and still qualify for a Hardship Waiver.
