UNT head coach Dan McCarney had his weekly press conference today, and as always there were a few interesting tidbits. Here were some of the highlights:

– McCarney thanked UNT’s fans for showing up for the Mean Green’s game against MTSU. He also mentioned that getting the fan base back has been a longer and more difficult process than he anticipated.

Wow, the players are the ones prompting routine changes on road trips???

That's surprising really as you'd think the coaches themselves would try to figure this out.

Without counsel, purposes are disappointed; but in the multitude of counselors they are established.

That's funny. The reason it's more difficult is because you're not trying to get a fan base back, you are trying to build one.
