So I've been thinking about how things have been going this year since we've started playing in Conference USA. I remember last year, I definitely had doubts about it, but so far, we've been doing pretty well. So my question: Does anybody see North Texp playing in a better conference like the Big Twelve, in say, ten years?

I don't think it would be smart of us to move up right after just moving into C-USA. We'd get a lot of losses. But I can see them moving in a while. Maybe even a pretty long while.

We had a chance at winning most of those except for maybe Georgia, but even then we were tied in the 3rd quarter. Hopefully, we'll be better at road games in the next two weeks.

The Big 12 is short 2 schools.

We should already be laying the ground work to make a bid.

That is for sure, we might have been there already but then there was Dodge.

Texas and Oklahoma would never let another large public university from Texas join the Big 12. To answer your question... No. I can't see North Texas leaving C-USA in the next decade. I think it is more likely that C-USA develops into a stronger conference under its new configuration. The western division has a real chance to grow intense rivalries and post large attendance numbers. If the west can do that, C-USA will see an increase in perception and media interest. The P5s aren't going to add any of us in C-USA.
