What a change from last years Muts game

McCarney said he would run the ball

And run, run, run the ball NT did

Nice to see Jimmerson back

NT 5 of 5 in red zone

Having all five OL starters back makes a difference

Best defense in the league?

No long passes, barely any passes completed by MT

Stockwell said he couldn't run or pass so he put in a run threat at QB

It worked to a degree, QB Grammer was 15-106yds, rest of team 12-33

Gosh, did he pay for it on that last hit; hope he is ok

Crazy stat: MTSU was credited with 12 TFL and NT only 2

Can't believe I was worried about NT's kicker and punter

Great blocked punt

Still can't believe anyone is still kicking to Chancellor

Never saw a returned punt fielded behind the kicking team

Agree on Jimmerson, nice to see him show flashes from last year. Still lost a fumble which is gonna keep him in Mac's doghouse.

Defense did not give up any big plays, that was nice to see for a change.

I have not heard of a season ending injury to Dajon, isn't that the first thing you let leak.

Did I miss it?

Otherwise lets get him some playing time, I keep hearing he is the guy next year.

Maybe Mac is a fan of the way NHL coaches handle injuries during the playoffs.

No comments on that weird punt return? I have never seen a punt fielded behind all the coverage before.

MTSU fans say that punt went a minus 4 yards, again how did the punter average over 42 yards with that included?

I don't get that 42 yard average either. That was a heads up play by Trice though. Besides Brelan, Trice may be the 2nd most exciting player to watch.

I think the difference is the average distance vs. the net punt, the ball was fielded past the line of scrimmage, however the return ended up past where it was initially credited. So the punter gets credit for the distance up to where it was picked up. Was definitely one of the craziest things I have seen.

I saw him warming up. Had a knee brace on. Not sure if he had it early in the season.

Dajon seems to being set up for attempted medical hardship waiver (FFR approves of this term). I hope he gets it.

In terms of trying to get McNulty in, personally I never felt comfortable until the last TD. Can't blame Mac for waiting. The last thing we needed was to somehow let that game get close after being up by 17 (easily could have been more without the TO's). However, this is a complaint, I like to hear.
