I've seen some very well attended Scout Days at other college football locales but not at North Texas.....yet.

I just received an email regarding the official tailgate. It will be from 11:30 - 2:00 located next to the Lady Techsters Softball Complex.

Tech fans - Is the parking lot immediately to the East of the softball field available to visitors on game days? Thanks in advance.

I really wish I could make this game. Ruston is not terribly far from where I grew up in East Texas. If anyone wants to eat delicious BBQ on the way there or back go to Joseph's Riverport BBQ in Jefferson, Texas. It is probably like 15 miles North of I20. The owner Stephen Joseph is a UNT alumni.

Saturday will be sausage dogs provided by Trace Adkins' Hightower's Country Smoked Sausage

Oh no, I certainly know the difference. Used to date a girl from Shreveport who schooled me quite well. I do enjoy playing up to a stereotype though. I do love drinking and gambling though, which I'm quite certain Northern Louisiana can accommodate quite well.

Just got a call from a friend in the Ticket Office ('cause I had yet to snag my 3 tickets, but am doing so now). With my three, the office is down to eleven official North Texas away game tickets left. I have to be able to infer this is a good sign, yes?

Yes. Player/coach tickets come out of it. I believe the allotment was 600, so that means the travel party should be bigger than the one to Tulane. Pretty impressive since Ruston isn't the draw NO is.
