Great student turnout too!

I'd like to pretend I had something to do with that.

Still feel that it was more in the range of 25K.

If you have any trouble finding a job after college SMU will hire you to count attendance.

Ya, looked about 16 or 17k, but still a hell of a turnout. From what I expected it to be. .

It looked really full on TV. The camera guys did a great job of focusing on the crowds during crowd shots, instead of half-empty sections.

That North Texas chant was epic.

Crowd was loud, and energetic.

We really could stop coming in so late and leaving so damn early though.

I loved the chant too, but dangit, I wish we could get that in the time between national anthem and the team coming into the stadium.

I don't think you have to pretend--even if it was a small part. Just keep the momentum going with it. I think you are doing a really great thing.

I feel it's likely you did have something to do with that, and I do think it was a significantly larger crowd than Idaho. I really doubt if "everybody" (junior cheerleaders?) there was counted. And stick with your goal of 30k; it's easier to achieve a goal if you have one and keep moving towards it.

So let me get this straight. I'm the bad guy for saying meangreener consistently overestimates attendance numbers? I would have loved for there to be 25k there but I think the announced number was spot on.

It was clearly 16-18,000

I think if we can continue to win we will see a sell out against SMU next season, if we win out maybe against San Antonio
