So I know you can't do this, but I did it anyway. I thought, assume I know what I know now about us and our opponents, how would I predict our season to go if we started right now! We actually know something about our team and opponents now rather than in August when we were picking games. So here's how I'd pick it. Notice I'd have us still at 2-3 although with two different results. I still see 7 wins possible and perhaps 8. How would you pick 'em?

H - Idaho - W

A - Ohio - L

H - Ball St. - L

A - Georgia - L

A - Tulane - W

H - MTSU - W

A - La Tech - L

A - So. Miss. - W

H - Rice - W

H - UTEP - W

H - UTSA - W

A - Tulsa - W

It's hard to predict much with this team. I could see us beating Rice at home, but I could also see us losing at LaTech. I could see us failing to hit 6 wins, but I could also see us winning out. Who knows?

One thing that worries me is we haven't really had our crap the bed game yet this season...ie like Houston last year. that could make one of the many "W"'s at the end of your list turn to an "L"...

Hopefully we won't have one at all this year - our games have thus far been very competitive.

One thing that worries me is we haven't really had our crap the bed game yet this season...ie like Houston last year. that could make one of the many "W"'s at the end of your list turn to an "L"...

I think we should have beat Tulane by 14. I am hoping losing that game is our moment this year.

I hear you but we did lose that game on the road by 3 on a last 5 second field goal. Last year our CTB game was Houston and 2011 it were FIU. CTB = blowout, totally uninspired - can't do a damn thing right performance.

Houston and FIU were better than us, by a lot. That is why they killed us when we didn't show up. I really, really hope our CTB game was Tulane, cause we can't lose to have one if that wasn't it.

Agree to disagree but we had no business getting blown out by either of those teams in the manner we did. We're we expected to win no but those were really bad performances to me.

Well I hate to say it, but if it hasn't happened yet MTSU is a good candidate. These programs have a history and I think MTSU takes this game very seriously.

They hate use for disrespecting their sexiness.

Yeah, Tulane definitely felt like a CTB moment.

Tulane qualifies. They suck way worse than Houston last year and that FIU team was good.,

I expected us to be 3-2 right now. Figured we'd split the MAC teams, beat Idaho and lose to Georgia, and then beat Tulane. On the upside, the teams I saw killing us are having bad seasons and may replace Tulane as one of the necessary wins. I still see 8 wins if we can pull off the rest of the close ones.
