Did anyone else notice that we were playing bend not break defense in that last drive with huge cushions on their WR allowing them get consecutive 1st downs and move easilybetween the 20s. Maybe you roll with that in the 1st quarter but at this time in the game I would have liked to see tighter coverage and more of a sense of urgency.

Had that strategy all game. Here you have a QB who is not accurate down the field and doesn't have a strong arm, but you chose to let him dink & dunk all game long. Horrible. The game plan should have been pretty easy to come up with. We have a knack if making things easy for our opponents.

Great observation, Harry. I'm not a great fan of the zone defense anyway. It allows virtually every completion even if you can tackle them at the point of reception. We knew that they have a great field goal kicker and we had to keep him out of his range. If you allow four to six yard completions they can march down the field and eat up the clock.

This was perhaps the best performance by our defense, albeit against a team that was less than mediocre offensively. Why would we not want to be as restrictive as possible in that situation? Passing was their only option to get in field goal range.
