So DaJon didn't make the trip

Is it safe to assume he will be redshirted?

I just am starting to think about next season with all the graduation losses... Would it not make some sense to start getting another guy some more of the reps?

Same thing at running back and the offensive line. If the guys in the current rotation aren't cutting the mustard in the running game lets change it up...

Or if the current coaching staff isn't cutting the mustard...

Give them a 10 year extension????

I wonder if Mac is using too many peeps at Rb and not allowing anyone to get going. That being said why not give Lewis or Rollins a chance, no one else is doing much.

Dajon better get a RS, I saw no point in Mac getting him mop up duty in the Idaho game. You don't burn a kids shirt for that.

Tell that to Todd Dodge.

The only change I'd make is at RB, where it's time to start Pegram. Byrd can go back to the role he did very well backing up Dunbar coming in to hammer tired defenses. Jimmerson needs to have a soul-searching conversation about how bad he really wants to play football, to include showing an ounce of desire to run between the tackles. Feature Back at North Texas is a high plateau (Ja'Quay Wilburn, Kevin Galbreath, Patrick Cobbs, Jamario Thomas, Lance Dunbar)

Don't want to see Dajon lose a year of eligibility and not play significant minutes. Bring on the phantom "unspecified" injury.

At WR, need to find out what we got in Terrell. Looks like they don't think it's much, but the opportunities haven't been there. Kidsy is a great find, though. That was a hell of a catch that he got hosed on.

No reason whatsoever for that, especially when BB and McNulty have already burned their RS's. It would be ideal to have those two as Juniors next year, with DW as a RS Freshman. I've never really gotten Macs handling of the QB position. Wouldn't be surprised at all to see BB at Northern Colorado or somewhere for his final two years, and that doesn't make me happy at all.

You think the NCAA will reward a RS to a kid who isn't hurt and plays for UNT. You must be outside your mind!

Are you sure he is not hurt? I would have figured he was #2 at QB and if he did not make the trip why?

Agreed, Harry.

It's the same thing. No one calls it a hardship waiver. As long as they can show some/any injury then it will be no issue.

If he isn't actually injured or doesn't become fake injured, playing him in mop up duty may go down as one of the most ridiculous decisions of the Dan Mccarney era...especially if Mcnulty was the #2 all along.

Do tell.

Someone on a Tulane board was chatting up Mr. Berglund at a dinner after the game and he was just pissed off at our coaching staff, implicating that they've never given BB an honest chance at things, etc.

-----

Now I'm with everyone else in thinking that you don't put two grains worth in pissed-off-direct-family-speak, but the fact remains that we have Berglund and he's never seen an in-game down.... just mind-boggling.

I guarantee Dan McCarney is smarter at football than everyone on this board. Dajon Williams will get a medical hardship waiver and have four years of eligibility remaining. He knows what he is doing (except when he is too committed to the running game).

I just hope he is smart enough to produce a winning season. I have my doubts.
