Something to keep in mind.

We lose a boatload of senior starters next year. This is the best team we will have in Mac's first 4 years. Probably the best of his first 5 years, assuming he were to coach through his contract year.

Remember that.

And 6 wins, or average, is the stated goal for his best team that he will have in his 1st contract term.

Yep, we are really committed to winning at UNT.

I've already pointed this out with my "This Is A Senior-Laden" team,.. which was quickly dismissed by the countless newbies we have here.

I'll say it again. This is the year. If we don't do something now it'll be a while before we get a chance to again, considering we will be replacing 14-16 starters,... including the defensive front seven.

It's terrible to think about but it's true.

Tonight our offense and their coordinator reduced our chance for success down to 7 games. After that it may be 2015 or 2016 before we have this experienced of a defense again.

No, I'm saying that this will be our best team in 5 years talent-wise. Doesn't mean it will be the best record-wise.

Keep giving away games to inferior teams and 4-8 is our future.
