New and exciting offense?

Remember all that off-season B.S. from Mac and Chico about how much different this offense would be?

I told you all then that it was merely coach' speak. Just telling fans what they want to hear.

Nothing has changed. Nothing was ever going to change.

Yap yap yap is all that was.

Words are cheap.

Offensive schemes now a days have been proven to be the ultimate equalizer in terms if leveling the playing field of talent. Look...TCU and North Texas have the worst offenses of any relevant programs in the state. Chico is a good man but I cannot stand to watch any more of this crap where we are insane trying to run with 8 man boxes or trying to throw for 4 yards when we need 10 on third down. It's tiring and sickening and if we had ANY semblance of an offense this team is 4-1 easy

Hmmmm!

Thompson threw for 326 yards and two touchdowns and outplayed Montana, who tallied just 132 yards.

The Mean Green finished with a 360-227 edge in total yards but couldn’t overcome the big plays Tulane made

We are a solid offense away from being a dang good football team. Watching college football these days, these wide open offenses are the ultimate equalizer. It's time for Mac to bring in a new, exciting coordinator for spring ball with 2 talented young QB's for 2014 and an slew of Offensive Lineman returning.

Who are some potential candidates?

My vote: Kendall Briles of Baylor

Thoughts?
