16.8% chance to run the table. Ill take it..

And I would dance a gig for 8-4.

Essentially it is predicting a greater than 50% chance that our final record will be at least 8 wins.. let than sink in a little bit.

I would love to see the underlying prediction model and I am considering building some additional simulations with the data, but those are some pretty damn high probabilities..

Yes. Really. It all starts with the head coach.

He went 8-4 last year. It was an easy schedule with only one ranked team.

UTSA is 2-2 this year winning 2 of 3 on the road.

They beat New Mexico on the road. They crushed UTEP last week in El Paso 32-13.

They lost to Arizona on the road. Their other loss was to a pretty good Oklahoma State team 56-35.

Some seem to think this is a walkover game. I don't. I just hope we win.

For those of you who count this as a good showing in the same vein of our 45-21 Georgia outcome, you need to go back and at least look at the box score, then take a look at OSU's personnel in the second half.

I'll give you a hint: As play began in the 4th quarter, the score was 42-7.

Their game against UTEP is more impressive.

Taking UTSA lightly is a recipe for disaster. Larry Coker is one controversial call away (in double overtime) from having back to back national championships at Miami. Don't underestimate them or their coach.

I posted this in September as it seemed like a trap game. Check out some of the comments back then.
