So NT03 Cooley etc can you describe his game? Is he similar to Greg Wesley? About the same size. Looks very explosive! Good pick up from Coach Benford! GMG!

Edit: Oh, oh...THEY must be on...picked up a couple of quick -1's from folks who have no sense of humor I see. Hey...it's funny..other folks do this stuff all the time and folks think it is so very jolly. But, then there is always THOSE sort of folks. Oh, well...some got the joke.

Loving where this one is going...well done Coach Benford and Company...love getting these foreign players. Does he speak English yet? Hope the program didn't use up a ton of it's recruiting travel budget going after this kid. Has he got the Visa in hand yet?

And....on another note...waiting for the usual subjects to knock this get somehow since he for some reason decided to play for Coach Benford and Company. You know, nobody would want to do that, right? Especially kids with choices and kids from so far away.

And, you felt compelled to add the first asinine part why? You know absolutely zero about me yet you choose to make that type of childish statement.

Now, back to the original topic.....welcome aboard, Jeremy. Hope you enjoyed the long trip to Denton for your visit. You do realize that you committed to play for our head coach...that would be Coach Benford. I ask because some here have posted on numerous occasions that no good player would ever sign to play with UNT as long as he was our head coach. Can you confirm how many suits he has? Some here believe he has only five. Silly gooses. Everyone knows he has many more than that. Confirm?

What? This kid is white? I thought for sure he wasn't in the videos I saw here on GMG.Com. Are you sure you are talking about the same kid I am? Think he wears the same size suite as Coach Benford? Maybe those suits have a hidden pocket to keep "foreign" kid's Visas safe while they are at UNT. But, really, check out the videos. I really do not think he is white.

Some really interesting quotes from Combs in that article. Do you think he and his HS coach know more about the direction the team is headed under Coach Benford than the GMG.Com self-anointed experts? Could that be at all possible? Surely not. Maybe it's because he is not local and just isn't seeing the posts from our experts. Can you imagine that a current player helped recruit this kid? Maybe Coach Benford loaned him a suit.

Sorry..just too easy and tons of fun. Please don't take offense...it's only a fan board and this stuff happens on all fan boards, right?

And, I think I have it confirmed..this kid is not white. Emmitt had it wrong.

Is it just me, or does the end quote sum up how bad a state our basketball program is and show how little we have to pitch to recruits?

The end quote/thing he says that stands out about how he views us and why he committed to us is "I like that North Texas is going to conference USA."

Hope Benford starts proving us wrong, but the first thing I thought when I saw Combs committed is that he could be a good building block for our next head coach. Either way, very excited about this pickup.
