Design-wise, the Heart of Dallas Bowl definitely wins.

I'd rather not play the New Orleans bowl just because we'd have to play a Sun Belt team. I'd rather play a team form another conference.

_{The only downside about the Heart of Dallas bowl is that it is on ESPNU, while all the others are on ESPN. I think it would be well worth it in the end though to have such a large group of NT fans together. Got to get at least four more wins though for any of this to be relevant. Ideally we just win the west division, host and win the title game, and then play in the Liberty Bowl in Memphis....one game at a time.}

I know the perception of the Belt is something we want to put behind us, but I was raised to remember where you came from.

In a type of postseason that is really about celebrating teams' success, if you're not playing for national titles the NO Bowl is pretty dang awesome.

I would also really enjoy dishing the newest edition of Mean Green towards any former foe that handled us pretty dang mighty the last several years.
