Trussbussdad, yes let's be thankful that lil ole NT didn't get hurt or put anybody in a body bag. I sure hope the big bad Green Wave doesn't kick our sorry asses in a few weeks. God Damn it, I am not going to tolerate the loser mentality any longer, from anybody. Enough is enough.

What the hell does it matter what you or anyone else on here's mentality is??? Are you playing the game? Do you have to sharpen your mentality to get ready for the big games? Thats stupid. My mentality gets all hopped up during these kinda games too, but don't act like taking the time to celebrate some successes is going to prevent us from winning in the future.

We should've lost like FIU did. Because you know, getting national headlines and respect for a gutsy performance against an elite SEC team at home isn't a huge deal. We should've just lost 72-0, same thing, right?

I'm disappointed we lost but still can confidently see 8-4. When is the last time we've been 2-2 OOC? You don't just go from garbage to excellence overnight. The Louisiana schools are pretty much the only ones I can think of that has done it overnight, and that was mostly based on QB play, not building a winning foundation.

It's my alma mater, that's what gives me the right. Just like you have the right to celebrate a 24 pt lose.

No one is celebrating a loss. A celebration is in order for not getting creamed by the 9th ranked (we are ranked somewhere between 70-100, btw) team in the friggin country, gaining respect for our program, and confirming the hope that we have a shot at winning conference this year. RE-READ THE THREAD TITLE. I think you're lost, man.

I think GMG.com should put a strict NO POSITIVE THREADS moratorium in place. Anyone who doesn't obey is immediately banned for life and forced to sit in the visitor section of Apogee.

Or on the wing, which would equate to solitary confinement.

You're so angry right now you are just dropping typos everywhere. Step back, man.

You are right, I am happy about the way things are done at NT. I should be shot for expecting more. I am going to start wearing blue jean shorts, sleeveless shirts, get a mullet and start celebrating our success with you guys.

Can we play D&D too?

UNT passed the eyeball test today. Georgia is most-definitely the superior team. We all knew that. They proved it today.

The big plays on defense have got to stop. At the same time, do you guys realize that this was the first team that did not score on us during their opening drive? Murray missed on some golden chances to beat our secondary deep. Judging from the first 4 games of the year, this is the achilles heel of our entire team. Improvement there is a must. And we have 2 weeks to work on it before our next game.

Thompson made some very nice passes. Thompson made some pretty bad passes (for some reason he must think Marcus Smith is Brelan Chancellor or something because he overthrew him every time).

Defense did what they do best and forced some turnovers at nice times. I have alot of confidence in this defense outside of the home-run, deep balls.

Offense played a very balanced game and were just held in check by a superior team.

It's going to be hard for me to predict a loss for this team moving forward. Rice and Tulsa appear to be the only ones that would be a toss-up for me.

I think we need to stop bitching about the defense giving up yards and just focus on the fact that they make the big turnovers at the big times and live by the bend-but-don't-break philosophy. I'm confident in the D and Derek. Not so much on the offensive line or the wide receivers. Also Zac Whitfield needs to be off the field. He's the problem with our D.

Also our special teams is a game changer. Brelan is the best returner in the NCAA.

I think the board is pretty dang balanced positive/negative following a blowout.

We sucked at plenty of things and we were good at some things today. I don't see that it showed us much we didn't know.

I took more positives from Ohio than Georgia.
