For those who might be in town and didn't catch it on the Alumni Forum...since everybody else is posting theirs here I will too. I know kickoff is in just a few hours but what the heck...

We're going to meet with the UGA Alumni at Windy City Half Moon, 2121 E. Highland in Phoenix. Since it will only be 9:22 am here when the game starts, they will open at 9 and serve breakfast.

Since the turnout has been pretty dismal with us just starting organizing, we will be combining our efforts with opponents' alumni until we begin to get a more solid group gathering to watch games. So if you know any alums of other CUSA schools who live out here in Arizona, be sure to put them in touch with me (or vice versa). Because this area is so far removed from where our conference schools are, most of them don't have an official alumni group organized yet and most of their alumni associations have been very receptive to the idea of just having joint events with us to help bring people together.

      Those four stayed because the PaC didn’t pay the conference buyouts. That’s it.

      How about good old fashioned bulletin board material. And when we start beating them and the game is in hand start chanting AAC. They can thank us later for keeping them from making a brutal mistake. Now I would be on the horn with San Antonio. Schedule a margarita zoom or invite their AD to La Gloria in the Pearl District for a little catch-up. Jared should look their AD in the eye and say, you know we play better together. Force the North Texas South Texas angle in the future. An athletic handshake if you will. If San Antonio doesn’t agree, stop at a bbq joint in San Marcos. You know the drill. Those 4 could have looked at this at a more macro level to power a strong deal. But that would be too much bipartisanship in this day and age. Plus maybe they just didn’t want to be like the PAC and attempt to destroy a conference on the way out. Or they realized it was ultimately fools gold out there. Just beat them this year and make the others realize there is hot potential in North Texas. GMG

      Yes. 2017, 2018, and a bit of 2022. Lots of wins against teams we should beat and very few (none?) against solid teams and/or big games. So far, we were completely blown out in the most significant game of the year. I certainly hope it doesn’t happen again, but the heart of the schedule - especially versus Army - has that potential. Let’s see if this defense has started to really turn around or if the recent results are due to subpar opponents. The defense, as we all know, will determine the season.
