What is the time line? Could it possibly be on for the 2015 season?

If I understand correctly we just approved moving our budget to 34 million for athletics which is just fantastic news. And yes baseball will be a part of this which is also great. Very pleased to hear this news!! Great day for UNT Athletics!!!

Big thank you to the BOR for stepping up to the plate. This should put us in the upper tier of C-USA schools budget wise.

Wasn't $31 million the initial number?

If we are going to do baseball, I hope we don't try to do it on the cheap.

No raise to the student fee? Go figure.

You know some out of touch dipsh professor will say, "People come to North Texas to get away from baseball."

Okay, everybody can downvote me now, but I'd rather see that $600k spent on pretty much anything other than baseball.

Ummmmmmm? Why?

You'd rather have a varsity bowling team?

What year are supposed to get baseball? I asked once. No one replied... I really want to know so I can start bringing it up to the wife and make her think it was her idea to get season tickets when the time comes.

"In an interesting side note, UNT regent Don Potts reiterated that the school will have to add a women’s sport to offset the impact of having a baseball program will have on its standing with Title IX."

This will be interesting to see what women's sport will be added along with baseball.

I believe Rowing is the only CUSA women's sport for which we currently do not participate, although some of the rowing teams in CUSA are not "regular" conference members (e.g. SMU).

Only if it's women's bowling. They're always the hottest!

Women's gymnastics. We have an untapped gold mine in this area. 2 or your last 3 Olympic Champions train in Plano. We could seriously be a powerhouse.

Some female Olympians train at Woga in Frisco as well.
