1. Texas A&M
2. Baylor
3. Texas Tech
4. Rice
Adam Hochfelder: Great win over a Big 12 opponent. The second straight win for the Night Birds over (not sure what kind of bird a Jayhawk is) of Kansas.
5. TCU
6. Texas
7. Houston
8. North Texas
Jake Shaw: If the Mean Green make a bowl game, they'll look back at last weekend's comeback against Ball State as one of the main reasons why.
9. UTSA
Rick Epstein: The two-game losing streak will be erased when the Roadrunners beat UTEP Saturday in their first ever Conference USA game.
10. SMU
11. Texas State
12. UTEP
Jake Shaw: Local product Aaron Jones looks like an emerging star, helping the Miners deal with Nathan Jeffery's nagging injury.

I'm really interested on how the UTSA vs UTEP turns out. I think the Roadrunners take it

While we should be better than both those teams, it is definitely interesting. Especially from the UTSA perspective.

I'm also curious about Rice vs. Houston. I wouldn't mind if rice supplanted itself this week as top dog in Houston for now and going forward.

I do too. UTSA is miles ahead of where I expected them to be as a program. I like Coker and the staff he's assembled there. Feel like they are going to be a dangerous wildcard for everyone in CUSA given that most had written them off before the season started.

I would like to see this team again UT this year.
