Richard Abbe showed up big time last night. I was very impressed with his play with two knock downs and good pressure on the qb.

Look who beat his man..(3 year letterman, Sr Mathew Page.....6-6 300lbs).. and is firmly planting his face into Wenning's chest there,...which certainly helped.

Proud of Abbe who could have easily packed it in and left after the off season he experienced and losing his scholarship. He has shown a lot of character in sticking with the expectations placed on him by Coach Mac. He is always one of the players that leads the team on the field, plays hard and deserves to be recognized for playing well against Ball State.

I for one and damn glad we have him; the pass knockdowns were key plays. Honestly, I think he's an improved player this year.

Good point; I remember the announcer saying it was Lincoln,now that you mention it, but couldn't pick him out among the players on the field. I am certain that Abbe got at least one knockdown.
