What happened at halftime?

Truly a tail of two halves. My wife kept asking where were these guys during the first half. Someone lit a fire during halftime. Anyone know any details?

Seemed like lots of adjustments for NT on both sides of the ball. That's why you pay good money for experienced coaching.

The corners played 5 yards off the wrs instead of 10. Whitfield replaced Jackson. Coverage was a lot tighter. Even the ones they completed hsd tighter coverage. They completed.a long one off s fluky bounce. Only big play in the second half. Seems like the coaches finally had TRUST in the team's ability to try something different and be aggressive.

Stat they said on the post game show, UNT has held the last 3 opponents to 0 points at home in the second half... Coaching adjustments are huge and playing off!!! GMG

The second half play by UNT was great, but momentum actually shifted at least a bit during the second quarter. After trailing 20-3 after the first quarter, UNT out-scored BS 13-7 in the second quarter by scoring three times. Also, BS had over 300 yards of offense in the first quarter, but didn't get 300 more the rest of the game.

I have been critical of Coach Mac in the past, but these are the kinds of adjustments and coaching we have been wanting for a long time. The chronic poor starts are still concerning, but tonight was a great win gutted out by the players, and the coaches, that particularly in the second half, put the players in a position to go and get the win.

After Hilbert got abused for that last Ball St. touchdown... I don't think he saw the field on D again. That helped a whole bunch.
