Way to show great character and come back and win today! If you had revealed the amount of quit I experienced in the chat room today, you would be 1-2 heading to Georgia after a 60-3 beating. Thank God you didn't quit and were rewarded with a great win. Super leadership by DT, Trice, Byrd, Chancellor, Smith, etc.... Proud of every single one of you!

Huge comeback, two games in a row we've came back down by double digits. When Mac says things are changing, closing out games like today really shows it. I thought it was going to be ugly but the boys came back and never quit. GMG.

Stat of the Night

North Texas has held the last 3 opponents to 0 points in the second half at home!!!!!!

The stands in the alumni side was just as dark. Proud of the team and how they played. DT is who he is and even if it is maddening to see him miss open receivers and lock onto one target he still is the one that the team respects and who they want to lead him.

It was telling watching the bench of the offensive starters after the DT false start in the first half. Watching the level of respect they had for DT and the willingness they had to tell him that it is OK made me soften my stance on him.

He is who he is. Accept that and accept that the team still believes he is the best choice.

The chat room was a dark, dark place in the first half.

With about 5min left in the 2nd, my wife & I were talking about leaving after halftime, but when Chancellor scored just before the half, and then we forced that turnover and almost scored again, there was a sense that momentum was swinging, and we wanted to see what happened... boy am I glad we did.
