I remember a DD quote from one of those NO Bowl DVDS, something about having a playmaker at every position.

We won today because several guys stepped up to make plays. Lee on D, Paul on ST, DT on offense.

We could be knocking on the door of an actual turnaround. I hope I am not jinxing anything by saying that.

It really does take a special person to admit when they have been wrong and I appreciate and have even more respect (as I've had all along as it is) for all that are doing this. Yall are great alums and fans, but of course we knew that long before DT/#7 wouid know that there would be a U of North Texas in his future.

Myself? I've had to be "quote/unquote" special (or to have to most humble'y 'fess up) way too many times in my life and even concerning North Texas athletics at times, too. :hair:

Being older I do believe is mellowing me out but only wish the mellowing out process would have begun much sooner quite frankly (and, yes, yes, yes.... I know....DONT' CALL YOU FRANK) !

I was giddy seeing us start the game by passing relentlessly on our opening drive.

This was certainly a team win but DT stepped up and did what he ha to do. And Chance? That dude is just downright electric. I kept anticipating him busting loose every time he touched the ball.

And if course the defense. Yes, they surrendered an early 20 (those if you saying 27 forget the offense gave up 7) but holy crap, they went into lockdown after that. It was a tale of two teams.
