Love the script!!!

The old script helmets did not have a metallic paint. Man, I wish I could make Sat's game!!! Four New Orleans Bowl trips and some of my best memories of NT football came in that uniform.

In 2005 they started using these helmets. Which were the same helmets as the 2001-2004 but with the new block letter sticker. Still glittery boat paint green.

And for the record, our current helmets are also sparkly green. It's a subtle sparkle, not POW! in your FACE! sparkle...

After seeing Texas Techs ugly gray unis' last night, I wonder when the day arrives when a team comes out just wearing their

helmets, shoulder pads and jock straps? (Please, no pics or representations of that sight).

This uni' change from week to week or season to season to me is just getting way out of hand; of course, I am somewhat a

traditionalists, too.[/size Plumm, if I could think of a word in the English language that meant uglier than ugly I would use it to describe TT's hideous uniforms. They were so grotesque that I found myself rooting for TCU, FroggyStyle notwithstanding.

What would look the best would be to take the SOW wings and put it on either side. Very similar to the ones Oregon has been wearing but in our colors, obviously. That would be hard to beat in my opinion.
