I grew up going to Fresno St games, where they at the time served beer. It was still family friendly. Do you all that are opposed not take your kids to rangers, stars, cowboys games? Come on.

I'm just saying stadium-priced beers aren't going to impact the student section a GREAT deal. Too expensive for people used to dirt cheap drinks. It might even keep a few in the stadium if they can grab a beer when the buzz starts to wear off. Student section will forever be peppered with students who are far too drunk. Might as well make a few bucks off of them.

I have never needed a beer enough to pay $8-$12 for one. Rather wait and spend a couple bucks more for a 12 pack.

Amen. Plus, I'll never understand the obsession of drinking during a football game. During a baseball game, when there's lots of down time between the action, yeah, I see nursing a beer. Also, hockey because there's no time element during the possessions.

With football and basketball, there's constantly a time clock going between the plays/possessions. And, football, you throw in the substitutions between each play. Just no time to sit and enjoy a beer during all of that. Drink before and after.

Would alcohol contribute to concerts/events to UNT as well?

As an aside, there are quite a few large orchestras and other "traditional" performance venues out there that are experimenting with serving food/drinks (mostly the latter) at concerts to change their model a bit and appeal to a newer audience that isn't literally dying out.

OSDH&CP OGTFO.

OSDH&CP O ESSC

John Williams is a genius, guys and gals.

Since when have orchestras NOT served drinks? I saw (ok, had) drinks at the London Philharmonic in 1989 and the New York Philharmonic in 1990.
