Saturday is one of those “box of chocolate” games. You don’t know what Mean Green team we are going to get. Is it going to be the one that plays inspired and good football or is it going to be sloppy like the Troy game last year. I don’t know about you, but that scares me and most likely Ball St. fans and coaches too.

With all the talk surrounding how good Ball St. QB Keith Wenning is it’s easy to forget about his targets. Willie Snead and Jamill Smith have racked up 23 catches 374 yards (16.2 yards per cat.) and 3 touchdowns together. The Mean Green secondary is going to have its hands full.

Can UNT please convert a 3rd down and while they are at it convert more than one. I’m hoping for a 50-60% conversion rate. 3rd Downs always play a big part in winning or losing, but in this game I think it’s magnified. I don’t know about you, but I bet Coach MaCarney wants to keep Wenning and that offense off the field.
