We're projected to go the the Heart of Dallas Bowl. So we not nly go to a bowl game, it is close, and we can use New Year's Eve as a long ass tailgate party.

With about 2-3 new bowls being added each year we should start showing up on a list. I've even arrived early in Dallas for the game.

Ditto. I'm always in Tulsa for Christmas, so I could just extend the vacation a bit. I'd consider it the greatest Christmas present ever in the history of everything.

Man, I wouldn't pencil in Tulsa or Iowa for anything at this point. Tulsa is cooked and Iowa has a rocky road to five more wins. A loss to Iowa State this weekend would be the Hawkeyes' third in a row, dropping them to 1-2 on the season on the heels of a 4-8 2012...before they even get into Big Ten play.

Sadly, I would love this as it's a great way to capitalize on the extra practice time that bowl teams enjoy and save the athletic department the expense of traveling the team & spirit groups.

Yes, not as "fun" but might be the best situation for our program.

I agree it is the ideal situation. Super easy for students to attend, DFW alumni would show up in force (I saw tons of faces in New Orleans that I'sd never seen before) and the we could easily take ALL of our spirit groups and toys (Boomer, Model-A etc).

Not if a conference can't provide enough eligible teams to fill all of their bowl tie-ins.

Roger that. I guess I've heard that before & forgot about it. Hard to believe we would be in that bowl game unless we had a stellar season, but it would be KILLER & I'm all for it!
