1) The opponent scoring first and easily-I mean try the prevent on first play or something get creative you know its coming.

2) Lack of solid tackling

3) Lack of fundamentals in the defensive secondary, turn around and look for the damn ball!!!!!!

4) Clock mismanagement

5) Shitty special teams play (yes we have some bright spots #3 but that is it)

6) Running on first down AKA predictable play calling

7) Lack of quality at QB even though smaller schools seem to find somebody that can make plays, and how many true freshman started this year at reputable programs?did anyone notice that this year? Let's be honest DT would not start at any other CUSA school.

These problems have been around a long time, even under different regimes, and I am tired of watching this.(although I will because I guess I am that stupid/loyal)

WE DESERVE BETTER!

Most of us have hung in there a loooong time and after watching UTSA, I think our window is very small. If we do not improve quickly, our administration needs to fire everybody(including AD) or our huge recent investment is going to be for nothing.
Stop the madness PLEASE!!!!!!

RV I have not purchased season tickets since dodge's first season and I refuse to do so, until the product is at least up to par with "lesser" institutions. Give me something to want to invest in again.

GMG!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

BS, Thompson had an average at best game, but he didn't lose this game without a ton of help.

I wonder if some of you ever watch other football games, no one in college or pros has a QB that doesn't miss throws and make mistakes. Thompson had one bad interception were apparently he didn't see the defender coming into the play but other than that didn't have a bad game.

NT has no kicking game, gave up an opening play td, had their running game bottled up most of the game, couldn't make the defensive stops at game end when it mattered most, and Ohio make some great plays. I don't blame anyone for that long pass completion against the all out blitz, just a fantastic play by Ohio and there were others.

This was a team loss to a better team on the road. QBs are nearly always blamed for loses, but get a little prospective. He did lead the team to a tie from two tds down, not a small feat. The defense than allowed Ohio to move down the field for two field goals and I didn't see Thompson play one defensive snap.

That's so true, BUT those two FG's happened because we went three and out twice.

As I recall, my main concerns about our win last week, was that we didn't dominate the line of scrimmage when it came down to crunch time...and we needed the DL to step up last night to keep them from having those long, clock consuming drives.

This is really a great summary..esp about the interception....I really think most of this, and it could have been a win, is the coaching and play calling. It is almost a tradition we are down 7-14 points in the first 3 minutes or so (14 seconds this time). It was really amazing we came back as we did...they were the better team, but with better coaching and play calling we could have won this game. When you run 38 plays for 104 yrds, that is wasting 38 plays. When you can't run the ball, then quick , short passes...DT can do this, I've seen it.
