- Laramie Lee picking the wrong angle on the 2nd and only legitimate TD dirve for Ohio. Horrible decision.

- Our offense being vanilla. Canales was not creative tonight.

- Trice's fumble after the interception. Not really his fault, but probably would have given us at least points.

- At the roughly 10 minute mark the clock ran while the officiating crew walked off at penalty against us. Cost us 20-25 seconds. Not that it would have mattered, but who knows. this was wrong. just watched it again and they started the clock after resetting the ball.

- Poor decisions by DT. Screen at the end of the game that was covered (throw it away) and the last INT, plus others.

I'm not going to say that we should of won this, but we I think we let this one get away.

How about the jail break blitz where we get pressure force a lame duck throw and our cb doesn't turn around or put up his hands? Just a bit more awareness in that situation would have been huge.

Also the one series where we throw 3 times in a row and don't complete a pass... That was key.

There was an obvious hold on Ohio's 2nd TD. The screen pass to the outside on 3rd down, Ohio's slot WR was holding there.

DTs pick 6 and average play. I swear I've seen more pick 6's from him than by any other NT QB since I began following the team during the daffy eagle helmet era.

The worst kicking game in CUSA.

Defense getting suckered in by the exact same 1st play Idaho ran last week. But in their defense, they settled in and played well, IMO.

If this were the $10,000 pyramid it would go like this...

"Toast...beans...burgers...paper...the North Texas secondary..."

"Things you can easily burn!"

Yes, Whitfield... the same who gave up the 75 yard TD.

None!

I totally forgot about this. I was livid about this.

Anyone else concerned that this is still a constant in year 3? Not only is there no pressure but by the second half our DL is tired and teams start running at 5 or 6 yards a carry on us. Our DT rotation is Abbe, Lincoln, Boutwell & Orr. 3 of the 4 were signed by Dodge. Polk was signed by Mac but he is incredibly undersized. I know that Dylan Macdorman getting injured is just dumb luck, but what about Terrell Brooks? When you lose two guys who were 300+ in the 2011 & 2012 class how could signing 250 lb high school DT's be a good strategy to offset that? How do we not at least sign one JUCO DT? How do we not have some guys signed by Mac making a difference on the DL in year 3?

The position coach brings nothing to the table IMO

I'm glad a lot of our coaching staff has remained intact but Nelson was a carryover from Dodge and I wouldn't be upset if he was let go after this year. 5 years as the DL coach and I could be mistaken but I don't think we have had one all conference player in that time.

what about the fact that Chancellor touched the ball twice on offense, after we talked in the offseason about how we need to get the ball in his hands more...

(technically he 'touched' the ball 3 times, but one time he just handed it off in the wildcat

After that play I called this game on Whitfield, for that and the first play of the game. He has got to sit next week.

Can't sit him for that. He brings too many other things to the table that the guys behind him might not have. Watch how many plays he is in position to make a play on. We just need him to keep some awareness and get those hands up. He's got the wheels to get himself to wherever he needs to be.
