I hate to assign a level of importance to this game that suggests a loss is insurmountable for the rest of the year. My hope is that the coaching staff and team's core leadership is strong enough to respond well either way.

Fact is, though, it's a HUGE game for DMac. He needs to demonstrate an ability to win on the road in a game that most predict to be a closely fought loss.

Honestly.....I'm not sure I've been this excited and nervous about a game since NMSU in 2002.

And I've whipped myself into a frenzy where I'm really going to be disappointed if we lose. And I know better than that...
