Definitely need to have a short memory after Saturday. OU went into Happy Valley last year against a much worse and "unguided" PSU team. Not trying to diminish one of the biggest wins in Ohio history, but if I compare it to L'Ville...I'm not surprised at that score from Saturday.

On to North Texas, I can see Ohio putting up a lot of points, however NT put up a lot of points against a weak Idaho team last week. But that's what good teams should do against teams like Idaho. Their quarterback looked pretty accurate completing 23-27 passes and 350 yards. It looks like they're 1-dimensional from their 104 yards on the ground with 2 RB and obvious air attack. This makes me a little nervous because Bridgewater & Co. torched us on the sidelines and down the field. Our defense will have to show up.

Has north Texas ever been one dimensional through the air??? Hope the Byrd/jimmerson/pergram train run crazy through their line...

Yeah, anyone calling North Texas "One Dimensional" from a passing perspective simply looked at a boxscore from last week and hasn't researched anything else. This guy needs to do a little more homework.

Question to all, did the drops from Idaho WRs make our d look a lot better than we actually were in week one? I am a bit concerned with this facing a better team in week 2 on the road.

I honestly don't remember a lot of drops that weren't forced.

I know you're a heavy drinker, but did you already forget the Dodge years?

07 passing 257/game rushing 230/game

08 passing 276/game rushing 207/game

09 passing 273/game rushing 191/game

10 passing 258/game rushing 221/game

i wouldn't call any of those years as a one dimensional passing attack...north texas could always run the ball...and yes, i do enjoy a 12 pack...

Yes, people seem to forget that we racked up a lot of yards and scored some pretty serious points under Dodge. If it weren't for utter stupidity in the other aspects of the game, we could have been a pretty good team.
