Mean Green all access

How is it this year? Thinking about utilizing it for the MT game.

I was on CUSA network (basically the equivalent of Mean green all access for all the C-USA schools + all the championships).

It was the same old mean green premium. It worked ok for most of the time but when McNulty came into the game the picture got down for about 3 minutes. Camera was ok, mostly in the right place etc. Was the same for all users, no matter what access means they had used, so no particular problem of mine.

The user interface is better this year with the new website and the audio is great because they synch it with Hank and George's radio broadcast.

However the live streaming is still poor quality and the scoreboard graphics are terrible because they just use the jumbotron feed.

All in all it's better than the alternative of not seeing the game but there's a lot of room for them to improve it.

I used it for the Idaho game. It worked well for me.

My hope is that they keep the games archived for future viewing, as I missed a bunch of the game. There is a link to watch it on MGS, but I don't know if that is leftover from Sat. or a link to the archive. I have not been able to get it to play, so I am thinking it is leftover from the live game.

I sure hope I can re-watch it though.

Let me know if it will let you re-watch it, please. I would love to watch it.

I thought it was much better than MG Premium was last year. I thought the streaming was very good--flawless really. Much better job synching the audio broadcast with the video feed--the audio was just a little behind, but close enough that it wasn't a big deal at all.

There were a couple of times when it went completely out, or at least it did for me. And the camera work was pretty shoddy at times--they did not do a good job at picking up play fakes at all. Hopefully, those are some bugs that will get worked out, or at least improved. Overall, I am pretty happy with my first experience with the new service.
