Just for those wondering about a future CUSA foe...La Tech was blasted by NC State in young Mr. Holtz debut 40-14. Tough day in front of 54,000+ fans in NC. Scotty Young went 15 of 27 for 178 yards with 0 INT's. He had 3 rushes for a net of 7 yards. Took 2 sacks. Long pass was 40 yards...no passing TD's on the night for Mr. Young and La Tech.

Tough way to start...been there...don't like it one bit. I expect both Holtz and Young to rebound after this initial pounding. Looking forward to building a rivalry with LaTech.
