"Brandin Byrd set the tone in the running game, and UNT’s offensive line was as dominant as ever."

I guess my primary concern on offense Saturday was an inability to get push from the interior of the line on obvious running downs. Looking at runs with 3 yds or less to gain, here's how we fared...

Fail

3rd & 3

3rd & 1

4th & 2

3rd & 3

4th & 2

2nd & goal (from 2)

Success

2nd & goal (from 1)

4th & 1

1st & goal (from 1)

3rd & goal (from 2)

A 40% success rate is not what I'd describe as "dominant as ever."

Given the offensive success, this is picky, but could be concerning down the road.

Great game no doubt about it! Lets recap after Ball State and see if we are consistent.

jdennis82 I agree and I hope we see improvement here.
