We have a logo already that is unique, so there's no reason to use that one. Interlocking logos are played out.

Noticed this in the video as well. Also saw several of these at the game. I would put the SOW and the interlocking letters on anything and everything I could. Two good marks that can be used to brand athletics. Works on hats, shirts, helmets, and even hats with helmets on them.

I very much like the interlocking NT, but would be happy with the SOW. Or with the Flying Worm permanently. Pretty much anything but putting the entire name of the university on the helmet.

That's a nice logo but what is wrong with our Eagle logo and what is wrong when it's on our helmets? It still boggles my mind we don't put that on our helmets permanently. There was a reason we spent a few million dollars some years ago for the branding committee so why not utilize that? I think it's a great logo.

That logo always makes me think Tennessee and not North Texas. URCM is absolutely right in not letting that logo be used. I'm sure they're more than happy to let the SOW be used, but RV doesn't want that.

He's more concerned with people not recognizing us as the Mean Green (although every radio/tv broadcast ever calls us that) than he is with people getting our name wrong. I can't count how many times in the past decade I've heard us still referred to as North Texas State, or now the popular thought is North Texas University.

"North Texas" on the helmets is very generic looking. The uniforms yesterday were nice for a change, and it makes me hopeful for the changes that are supposedly coming. Wouldn't it be amazing if the first week of Beyond the Green had a segment on how Nike worked with us to come up with some new uniforms...

Stan R's avatar logo on page 1 of this thread you can tell that the N is actually on top the T; others not so much. Of course, how it looks from a distance is another thing, too.

I still like the worm or SOW and maybe even incorporate Stan R's "N on top of T" avatar on a helmet somewhere. Any of you graphic artist have any creative visuals for us to look at with that kind of helmet?

Most who I have shown it to like it,.. plus MOST of our lettermen as well. That is why that same logo has been used on the lettermen jackets for some 13 years now.
