I do like the 'flying worm' logo...but we are the Mean Green. That's been the branding direction for a long time now. The only reference to the Eagles is the kick a$$ logo on midfield and Scrappy. We are not The Flying Worms of North Texas. We are The Mean Green. In my opinion, having North Texas, or an interlocking NT, is better than having any redentition of an Eagle.

We are, and will also always be the Eagles. The Mean Green is our nickname, kind of like the "Flying Worm" is the nickname for the stylized eagle logo.

I appreciate the Flying Worm. I liked it on the throwbacks. That said, it kills me that we don't use the kewl logo on the helmets. Don't see why we can't do NORTH - SOW - TEXAS so we can satisfy everyone.

Gah.

Great game.

Liked the classic look very much. Interesting that some thought about bringing back the dark green as an accent color. Made this quick on photoshop using LSU's pro combat uniform from a few years back. Its hard to tell but the darker stripes, number outline, belt, etc. are dark green.

I like it! Not sure about the helmet though as it doesn't show what it has on the sides. But I like this as it has a modern look but also brings back old school elments.

HELLZ. YEAH!!!!!

What about the helmet being the darker green with "SOW" or interlocking "NT" in lighter green? Can't see the sides of the pants but maybe darker green stripe running down the jersey and the pants?

Too bright! Augh! My eyes!

As opposed to the current all bright green?

Yes. Keep the Flying Worm! Is anyone selling Worm shirts or caps in Denton?

I talked the the manger of Barefoot at the game. Was told they just received permission to use the Flying Worm logo. Should have new merchandise soon.

That is wonderful news. I think I might just return the shirt I bought at the stadium.

Yeah I couldn't see the side of the helmet so I didn't bother putting a logo on the side.
