Thoughts on UNT’s HOF class (Scott Hall)

I have been plugging Hall for the Hall for the last few years, and wondered if UNT would go ahead and put him in.

There were people who said Hall shouldnt have gone in on because he really wasnt all that great.

Well, UNT has finally acknowledged that he was great.

Hall ranks fourth in school history in passing yards with 5,975, first in passing efficiency at 132.26 and third in touchdown passes with 50.

Ive had people argue with me that it was UNTs running game that made the Mean Green go in that era. Thats true, but what great player hasnt had people around him that made him better? Ive had people argue with me that Hall wouldnt have been good enough to be a Hall of Fame player at another school. Maybe, but UNT isnt Texas. Hall was great for the school and the era he played in.
