What's the weather like out there?

"It's hot. Damn hot! Real hot! Hottest things is my shorts. I could cook things in it. A little crotch pot cooking."

Most of the evenings have cooled down once the sun goes down like in the high 70's?

One year we played Baylor U at old Fouts Field and pre-game on the Fouts parking lot was

about 106 degrees. Guess it worked out for us since we won the game and I think

that was the game when the Baylor's Bears locker room lost electricity during the entire half.

I think it was that embarrassment for our school which caused UNT official to begin serious

discussions about a new stadium, too. :)

GMG!

PS: Once the sun went down during that Baylor game the weather became tolerable looking back.

Here's hoping for a nice breeze this Saturday.

Drink lots of Gatorade and hydrate like all get out

is what I would suggest.

GMG ! !

Per Chico's tweet today, they're viewing this as an advantage for our guys who've been conditioning in this weather. Ultimately, I hope both sides are hydrated effectively so we can keep the tension on the scoreboard.

My weather app says 106 for saturday. I have never quite understood why any games played before Oct.1 here are not put off till around the 7:30 pm mark.

Assuming a 3 hour game, a 7:30 kick off means the game ends after 10:30 PM. Families with young children will have to leave at half-time.

Possibly, but they start that late all across the country. But I am only suggesting one or two of our games start that late.

Because the last 2 home openers were in the high 80s. Also because the high temp a couple of weeks ago was 88.

Weather in Texas is like a box of Chocolates. You never know what you're going to get.

If you start at 7:30 it will still be something like 99 or 98. It might get into the lower 90s by 10:30. It really isn't going to make much of a difference in temps, at best a degree or two.

I like my seats even more with this forecast...bring on that heat! Gonna bake some Idaho spuds on the Apogee turf Saturday.

If your in the direct sun add 15 degrees to the 102 for Saturday. Wih a low of 76.

So that puts Idaho's side line in Bake mode for the first quarter I imagine. So even though they might have had a chance to get used to 98 degrees yesterday, it won't quickly cool off and get down into the low 50's as

It has been there. Tomorrow night Moscow's low is expected to be 50.

Our luck they've been sipping pickle juice and out condition us like Philly did the Cowboys that one year.
