Well looking on the bright side, at least it wasn't a knee... now he can take a year off to aid in rehabilitaing the 2 acl's and the arm... had it been the knee again he would of likely been done.

he could be back for two seasons if my math is correct.

Truly sorry he is having to go through all this of course...

This hurts. Hurts depth in the secondary. Warner had experience and was a really good corner his first year here.

Feel bad for him and hope he recovers quickly. Hope the NCAA gives him 6 years, but not holding my breath. We are North Texas, after all.

IF he gets the medical shirt (big if), he would have 3 years left to play starting next year.

If he played for Louisiana Tech he could probably get another medical waived year.

Well, Zed Evans just got granted a sixth-year of eligibility so hopefully Freddie can get it too.

But more importantly is his recovery. Hope everything goes smoothly and he keeps his spirit and work ethic up.
