I'm pretty sure that's Welsey on the far left , but man he looks short when u look over at Armani

Maybe , Vaughns ? I've never seen him up close. If I try to enlarge the pic it gets blurry

Brandon Walton, a good kid who works very hard who got hurt last year. It was then mentioned that he was the only outside threat we had on the team, and when he got hurt, it changed the season, at which point he became the punch line of many jokes aimed at so called benford apologists.

Brandon, you have come a long way from Compton, California. Thank you for representing north Texas with class and good luck in the upcoming season.

He wasn't the punch line, Benford was.

We all appreciate Brandon's contributions, but to think that he would have single handedly changed last year's disaster is just ridiculous. Maybe we win 1 or 2 more games with him, but that's it.

So true...so true. Too bad about the jokes thing, but you just have to try to understand their motives. Same folks who crawled all over those who dared to even mention TM in a post. Hey, maybe those guys were just joking as well....about as meaningful as trying to say that Walton was not the butt of the "jokes".

Brandon Walton is a class act. He also is way more than what JJ thought he'd get (IMHO) from him. When we signed Brandon, I think all we expected was an outside threat, but he showed he could a number of other things well when forced to because of injuries. Walton gave everything he had and more during the 2012 SBC tournament.

However, as UNT90 said, I doubt he changes last year that much.

      Without knowing much about boxing, I think the powers will declare Paul the winner. There's a young generation of potential longterm viewers who grew up watching him make YouTube videos and having him beat Tyson brings too many potential viewers for the future of the sport. It's like introducing fast food in public schools in the 80s and 90s. Their future money depends on it.

      To SUMG’s point, I remember the Mean Green Club and the Mean Green 100 Club starting during the Hayden era. Remember the beautiful lime green sport coats given to the Mean Green 100 members ? I still have a decal on the wing window of my ‘77 sports car that I applied sometime after I bought the car in ‘77. And, I’m convinced we might still be in Fouts Field were it not for Rick V. Thanks.

      A lot of us old timers didn't want to make a change from NT to UNT. He went through 4 or 5 presidents while he was AD, I each who had their own idea as to how to market North Texas.In addition his budget was pocket change. You can thank Rick and C.Dan Smith for your new football stadium.

      Tyson may be 31 years older, but he is still going to beat Paul like a rented mule. After seeing him at the weigh-in, I surmised that Tyson is in shape (for the first time in 30+ years) and still has his hand speed. Even if some of Tyson's punching power has diminished, he still has enough power to knockout a Youtuber.
