wait... do i get that right? CUSA has 8 bowls now? wouff that is a loaaad and pretty much makes sure you go if you do make it to eligibility. You might be shipped of out of the country or to some other far away island, but you will go bowling if you win 6.

I thought that like in the baseball thread, the sport of bowling was rearing its ugly head in the football forum. Were it to unwittingly do so, and any of you were to find yourselves going to the Tulsa road game, I would recommend checking out the Dust Bowl right across the street from the Blue Dome. Place is freaky, man.

30 bowels 6 team pay off takes up 5 of the games and then 25 other games that go to the best teams (not based on conferences)

Isn't that already the 6 team playoff format they have planned? Just less bowl games. I only added the numbers.

well I get the unhappyness with too many bowls in general but if the system is what it is (with the power 5 trying to push the group of 5 out of bowls), then you better be in a conference that has enough bowl tie ins. You don't want to be the La Tech or MTSU of last year

Well, anyway u cut it, more bowl games for CUSA means more exposure for us...maybe more revenue down the road too. Oh yea, will help in recruiting !!

A bowl game means more practice for the team, too.

Think about those 4 bowl games and the practice that came with them? When you add it up, DD must have enjoyed an extra season's worth of practice compared to the rest of the Belt.
