I mentioned yesterday in the poster thread that the manager of the Tilted Kilt in Lewisville was really enthusiastic about hanging our schedule, and asked me if the games are on TV. He then got all businessman with me and asked what kind of business he could get in exchange for hanging our schedule. I just kinda' laughed, and said, "Well, think of it as community good will." He responded, "I do appreciate an honest man."

He gave me his card and told me to come back with my wife/SO and that he would set me up for a night.

Call me crazy, many have, but I bet he'd be really, really willing to host watching parties for away games. Any interest in/around Lewisville? It's certainly far enough from Allen so as not to cannibalize that setup.

that's good because we are in the market for a new Lewisville location after that last meetup at Fox and the Hound. Having no AC days before a party is supposed to be there and not:

A.) telling the party

B.) offering any type of conciliatory approach to the situation

Screw them.... they get no more of our business.

Just moved to Lewisville. I'd be willing to bet Buffalo Wild Wings would host as well.

Definitely down for a watching party at my new place or Tilted Kilt. I've been there a couple of times and the scenery is, nice ;)

Much more customer focused management than the Fox and Hound!

I gotta say, that in spite of my previous statements about breastaurants making me uncomfortable, my reception at the kilt was outstanding. Just some random guy walking in with a poster, and they treated me like I was somebody important.

BWW tends to support schools with larger followings than ours. I don't know what college fan base claims the Lewisville location but the Plano BWW is a Nebraska stronghold and the Addison BWW is an Arkansas/SEC stronghold.

The BWW on Lemmon Ave was always willing to accomodate me, but I was a regular. I'm sure I could have those managers pass the word to accomodate to the managers in Lewisville.

I've had really, really, really spotty service at BWW in Lewisville. The bartenders are usually pretty good. The floor staff can vary wildly. I've been served wings with no sauce, tried to tell me server, to which she, all of 18 years old, shrugged her shoulders, said, "Huh," turned her back on me, and walked away. The floor there seems to be little more than a training grounds for those aspiring to break into the business. Also, they just aren't really physically partitioned at the Lewsiville location.

BWW food has been slowly going down hill for some time now. I have quit going as I can get better wings in the frozen section at Randall's.

BUT. I went to Twin Peaks last week and was a huge fan. Not just for the obvious reason. The draft beer was super cold and served in a frozen mug. I did not have any food but what I saw looked great. They will see me again.
