College and NFL coaches can go out and find players who can run their systems, said UNT director of football operations Scott Conley, a member of Tom Kimbrough’s state championship-winning staff at Plano before moving to the college ranks. Forced to play with who’s on campus, a high school coach might be more willing to take a chance on something new, Conley said.
