I have no issue with setting achievable but difficult goals. 6 wins or more is not going to be easy this year. It would certainly be a huge step in the right direction, and it is a meaningful number of wins. Honestly I will be astonished if it happens, but it IS doable. We are where we are. In the overall scheme of things, yes it's deplorable that 6 wins against this competition is a stretch for North Texas in 2013, but we have to look forward, at least that is, as long as we can keep looking.

6-6 is doable, but it is a stretch goal right now. The QB situation is far from good and the DLine, both in ability and depth, is suspect. IF both exceed expectations, I think you will see 5-6 wins this year. If one of those two areas don't improive, I think 3-4 wins is what you'll see. And if both are bad this season, the dire 0-2 win season will be upon us.

I still say 5-7. Wins over Idaho, UTSA, Tulane, UTEP, and MUTS.

Well, it does say "hit 6" and not "finish with 6". Maybe it's short for "hit 6 as fast as we can first and then see what our end of season goal should be," but that would be a bit long to squeeze all together with a hashtag.

This makes sense. Hitting 6 wins as fast as we can may be the first phase of an overall season goal. When the goal of hitting 6 wins is acheived and that confidence is absorbed, then the train of momentum will pick up speed with #Hit7, #Hit8, Anything is possible.
