I stopped by practice this morning to pick up a few highlights and talk to Mike Grant and Darius Terrell about UNTs wide receiver situation.

Grant really likes the depth he has at wide receiver this year and provided some insight as to who will start along with Brelan Chancellor this year. The video is at the top of this entry.

I also thought it would be interesting to look back on UNTs quarterback situation through the years and delve a little more into the thought of Dajon Williams starting as a true freshman.

Good informative interview... so Grant says if its two it would be Darnell Smith and Brelan Chancellor; if 3 DS, BC and Carlos Smith... the 4th spot appears to be a battle between Skip Caldwell and Darius Terrell.. nice to see some depth. Wonder if and where Kidsey factors in?

I expect more 3 and 4 wide receiver sets this year, especially if we go with BB or DW. Doubt we see anywhere near the amount of 3 tight end sets that we had last year.

we need to take up a collection for Brett Vito towards an Audio/Video equipment fund. I could hardly hear that video.

I have a good audio recorder and the levels can be adjusted. It may be Vito has $3000 equipment and 0.50 cent training.
