Thanks for the notes, I'm sure the wife would be interested. We definitely would benefit from a few overseas games in the regular off season. What are the rules regulating European tours and are in coming freshmen on the rosters when teams go?

Teams are allowed to go on a tour every 4 years. As long as the freshman are enrolled they can go ( I think ) Seems like just about every other college has done this at least once , but us

You guys going to try and make the OU game ?

Is that true? All the Sunbelt and CUSA teams have gone overseas except us? I really thought that only the better financed schools and what some might consider "bigger programs" historically have done this overseas thing. Would be fun to see UNT do this if the costs were in line and if we could generate some real excitement surrounding the tour. If UNT really is the only one that has not, maybe it is time to start thinking seriously about such a trip.

Just Off the top of my head I can recall - ULL,FAU ,FIU,MTSU,Denver,WKU,UTA , UTSA, Lamar , South Alabama as teams who recently went. This includes trips to CanAda & South America

It will be tough to schedule that with it being a mid week game. But, chances are it will be on TV, right?

Yep , a Tuesday is about the worst possible week day. Fortunately I think I am off that week & will probably make the trip

Wee had pretty minimal travel in the Sun Belt. Just Florida once a season in Football and once or twice a season in Basketball.

The same school doesn't go overseas every year. Like Duke or UNC don't go to Europe every year for preseason.

Lots of "Canada" on that list and Canada is as close to some of those schools than FIU is for UNT. I could see UNT going to northern Mexico if, of course, the drug cartels were no longer controlling Mexico.

Would love to see if it would turn out to be a big advantage...I like advantages...especially for the Mean Green!
