works for me...we stay in shreveport anyway...early game/tailgating...late night drinking/gambling...not bad...i'm good with the time!

Exactly. I'd want to give up on the opportunity to sit my ass down at the unconditionally free, 24/7 bar in Boomtown, why?

That's right. The shoe has a bar in it too. To memory, all the others didn't have a physical bar. You had to order from a machine/table.

I've never been to the track there. Free beer there too?

First time I ever went to Shreveport was actually 21 years ago. My college girlfriend, in hippie fried southern California, was FROM Shreveport, so I flew in to meet her parents. Many, many years later, I was driving around, got a bit lost, and randomly found myself on her street. Was a strange experience.

We love the track hotel...spring hill by Marriott that Caesars comps! Yes...free beer

..they have rolling carts that move around. Only slots there and otb...but beer. Horseshoe has a bar on all three levels...

There is the new Margaritaville Casino too! I live in Shreveport so if a group wants to get together somewhere after game I am in. My favorite spots:

1) The Cub, a bar that has been there since the 30's.

2) Herbie K's, another old spot, great beer and you have to try a shrimpbuster.

3) Superior Bar and Grill best mexican and bar is always packed.

Some of the casinos have bars with live music outside of the gambling floor that are the hot nightlife spots lately Sam's Town bar is usually packed.

Anyway let's see if we get a party started I would love to take over a local spot with GREEN, tired of Purple and Gold. Plus, the look on LSU fans faces when they see someone wearing Meangreen gear always cracks me up "Why are those people wearing something not LSU" kind of look, I don't think they realize there is anything outside of SEC LOL. Or, that they could get a Wal-Mart degree in many schools
