Now even the modern sports media sees themselves as the Pharaohs of Egypt back in Moses' time; you know, as in if they decree it in one of their columns then so shall it be done? FWIW, Super Conference talk has been going on for well over 40 years now and do we see one yet?

G5 conferences have a true gripe or concern with the question of "why do all the bottom dwellers of the P5 conferences get all the goodies while so many of the G5's better football schools could beat them on most any Saturday of most any Fall?"

I don't think Dodd was trying to decree anything. . . . he's lamenting that there won't be any more opportunity for Cinderella stories, if all goes according to the big boys' plan.
