Since this seems to be an area of need, here's a good list to work from. Note that one of our commits Shaquel Jackson is listed. DeSoto's other DT is Bryce English, a Texas commit that looks like Brandon Kennedy clone at 5-11, 312.

He's upside down on DJ/JT Williams. DJ is the star; JT is the one to watch. We've offered both but don't hold your breath on getting the Lufkin tackle. He holds offers from Oklahoma, Missouri, Kansas and Miami FL. He's also talking to Texas. JT, the Denton Ryan product, has been non-commital towards anyone, at least publicly. We have offered Hafoka Olie (I don't give us much of a chance), Darrius Montgomery (Baytown Goose Creek Memorial), and Kevin Strong (Cleveland). See how the latter two progress this year because I believe that we would have a good chance at both but right now they are not highly regarded.

Miami has committments from 3 or 4 DT's so I would guess they are out. Not sure about the others but you never know. Sic Trice on the DT from Lufkin and keep the young man from Ryan home!

Considering how thin we are at DT, I would sell these young men on the ability to start from Day 1 on campus.
