I'd like to have the indoor facility and I'd take it simultaneously with baseball, but not before. You'd still have to raise the funds to build the IPF because at least some of the funds being held are dedicated to baseball.

There is a void between the end of the basketball season and the end of school. Baseball would fill that void. Baseball could directly produce revenue; an indoor practice facility would not. Baseball has been waiting in the wings before there were indoor practice facilities. Baseball is not lacrosse or field hockey. It is played by the vast majority of major colleges and it's high time that it returned here.

By the way, CW, yes that's the old police and parking office. And they are already in the neighborhood...could need some office space and a spot to perform drills or something...is anybody serious enough about this to go talk to the AFROTC?

As to Baseball vs. IPF, I don't really see why we have to pick which comes first. Baseball has money earmarked already, no? So keep working on that and start developing a separate fund, as well as possible "partners" (Green Brigade, AFROTC) to help defray costs. Each fund would develop at its own pace. Presumably baseball will already come first but if fundraising and partners came along quickly for an IPF they could both happen at the same time.
