So he had an awesome foul? ;) Style points!

:) It was CALLED a foul. It was clean up high though...they didn't show a replay to see if he got him with the body.

The last two games make me nervous in regards to production. Those aren't the greatest numbers in the world for 20 minutes played. The Pistons just payed 3.5 million for Luigi Datome (PF) from Italy.

That on top of them just adding the Atlanta Hawks Forward Josh Smith. Combine that with Greg Monroe not going anywhere and it makes me wonder what we will see from Tony off the bench.

When Drummond (Center) played on Sunday he scored 12 pts, 16 rebounds, 6 blocks and 5 steals (WTF!?!) in his first summer league game. If Tony were to put up half of those numbers game after game I would rest much easier.

Haven't watched the last 2 games but I wonder why the slump in numbers?

Tony will make the team. Mark it

If he's traded / moves to another team , it will be Toronto. Raptors have already tried to acquire him

Where did you hear that? And that would be nice!

Something strikes me a bit odd about all of Detroit's recent acquisitions. I'm not reading too much into anything right now; they could be simply putting themselves in position to make a trade that has nothing to do with Tony.

Again, it might spell "done" for Tony, or have nothing to do with him at all.

Tony will make the team. He was not drafted by the Pistons with the expectation that he would start this year. At best, they are probably hoping for some meaningful minutes by the middle of the season. He might even be in D League until then to, and there is no shame in that at this stage. Their recent signings really have nothing to do at this point with Tony and their plans for him.

On another note, Olynyk is tearing it up for Boston, and the Mavs are left without even having a bag to hold.

Agree. I actually think the signing of Smith secures a roster spot for Tony. Pistons are not going to spend anymore money on frontcourt players. They can pay him the bare minimum to stay under the cap. The minutes may be very limited , but just making the team is a great accomplishment. The odds to make to the NBA are astronomical. There have been hundreds , probably thousands of great college players who never suited it up in the big league
